Director Eddie Cheek is looking for backers for his new movie so he’s throwing a gala shindig for interested parties.  In return for their funding his movie, he’s promised them parts in the picture.

Eddie  Cheek:  a self-absorbed, egocentric, over the top, possibly insane B-movie director whose movies tend to become cult classics.  He is the laughingstock of Tinsel town.  He makes terrible decisions; flip flops those decisions and has no real loyalty to anyone.

Nova Cane:  Had an affair with Eddie, which was one of the biggest mistakes she ever made.  Nova is Rock Stud's ex-wife.  Word out is she is ready for a tell-all interview with Entertainment Tonight.  She is even said to know some dark secrets about Quinnie Winston.  Now she blackmailed him into giving her roles in all of his films in exchange forher silence. 

Cherri Pitt:  She has no real super-duper acting talent per se but she is a better actress than Nova and she is willing to go to bed with Eddie in exchange for the female lead.  She's madly in lust with Rock.  She plays ditzy and dumb when she needs to but underneath it all she is pretty cut-throat and smart.

Rock Stud:  He is good looking enough, definitely a has-been in Hollywood and he agreed to do the picture so he is perfect for the leading man's role.  Of course, if Eddie finds someone better in the auditions, he'd be more than happy to replace Rock.  He's been involved with Cherri since meeting her at the film's first read through two weeks ago and firmly believes "she's the one" if only he could afford to marry her.

Guy Love:  The (possibly gay) makeup artist and supporting actor Eddie uses in all of his movies.  he doesn't speak about his past very much.  he met Eddie when Eddie hit him with his car.  Quinnie forgave Eddie and he really likes the man, likes him a lot. 

Billie Clubb:  She owns Clubb Casting and Management, a second rate management company that represents B movie and television starts.  Despite her dislike of Eddie, she's working with him to cast his movie - she badgered him until he gave her the job.  She will be Eddie's best friend if that is what he wants.  Gag!
